Merges Numbers

Merges Numbers is a sliding-tile puzzle game where the main gimmick is combining identical values to double them, pushing you toward a single high-score tile. Unlike standard block-fitting games, this one restricts you to a fixed grid, meaning space runs out fast. The board shuffle mechanic forces you to reorganize existing tiles rather than just adding new ones constantly.

You click and drag a number tile or swipe on mobile to slide it across the board in one straight line until it hits an edge or another tile. Every turn you must decide which direction to push the stack, knowing the slide moves the entire row at once. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value, freeing up a single space on the grid. The round ends when the grid fills up and no adjacent tiles have matching numbers to combine.
